KATSEYE is making a cameo appearance. The slated theatrical release has been pushed back to Feb. 26, 2027 from the initial date of Feb. 12, 2027.

So, we were streaming 24/7 for the first 2-3 weeks at namnationfm and namstation with a large roster of Nam Nation DJs in rotation across the globe. We started to build an amazing community over time, and now we're like a family on Stationhead. Being syndicated on the NAM NATION channel means we have our stream goals as a fandom. Just announced on July 22, 2025, Eric has been cast in an Untitled K-pop Movie with an anticipated theatrical release on Feb. 12, 2027. This production will be completely filmed in South Korea alongside Ji-young Yoo, voice of Zoey in KPop Demon Hunters. Updates, such as new cast members who have joined, have been posted here.
Latest status: Filming took place in Seoul during the latter months of 2025 and has wrapped in Nov. 2025.On Sept. 9, 2025, DAYOUNG from WJSN/Cosmic Girls launched her solo debut EP entitled gonna love me, right? All 3 tracks — body (title track) / number one rockstar / marry me — were co-written by Eric and other songwriters! Eric appears in the number one rockstar official MV in a couple of scenes, and briefly in the behind-the-scenes video showing the making of the album when he was in the studio or on a video call with DAYOUNG.It was initially announced on Oct. 3, 2025 that Eric was in talks of being part of the thriller entitled Loser. He has since been confirmed as a cast member. Filming had been underway in New York/New Jersey in Nov./Dec. 2025. He recently wrapped the movie in Dec. 2025 as mentioned in his Dec. 23 newsletter. The 🥔 Origin Story

This all started in the official Nam Nation Discord server before Eric was allowed to join us. ROFL Yes, for a while, Eric had no clue that there was a server for him, which Eddie (Eric's brother and manager) had created in preparation for the release of Eric's new album House on a Hill. It was a wonderful way to build community and support for Eric.Anyway, literally the night when Eric was gonna stop by to hang out with us Nam Nation on Discord, there was suddenly a discussion in our lounge, the main chat, about potatoes. Then, the potato craze started and got out of control with almost everyone changing their profile pics and usernames to potatoes or variations of how you would call it. Of course, we dialed it back just in time so that Eric wouldn't feel overwhelmed. (We can't scare off Eric!!) LOL Anyway, we love being associated with the potato so much that we became the potato family in the server and also on Stationhead. Now, other fandoms are beginning to know of us 🥔s!!

Oct. 3, 2025: According to Deadline, Eric Nam is currently in talks to join Loser, a thriller from Colleen McGuinness and Radio Silence - Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella. (It's been reported that Chad is no longer with Radio Silence as of Feb. 2025.)

Oct. 31, 2025: As reported by Deadline, Eric Nam is now listed as a cast member of Loser, a thriller from Colleen McGuinness and Radio Silence - Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. Julia Fox has joined this film as both a cast member and an executive producer.

July 22, 2025: Eric Nam and Ji-young Yoo will be teaming up in an Untitled K-pop Movie that will be shot in Korea with an anticipated theatrical release on Friday, February 12, 2027. The film is directed by Benson Lee and the latest draft has been written by Eileen Shim.

Sept. 8, 2025: As announced on The Hollywood Reporter, new cast members Yu Jitae, Tony Revolori, and Gia Kim have been added to the Eric Nam and Ji-young Yoo movie, Untitled K-pop Movie, directed by Benson Lee with the latest draft written by Eileen Shim.

Sept. 24, 2025: As reported on Variety, nine more cast members have joined the line-up in the Eric Nam and Ji-young Yoo led movie, Untitled K-pop Movie, directed by Benson Lee. They include: Sung Jun, Kang Sora, Hyongchol Lee, Ahin Lee, Renata Vaca, Silia Kapsis, Aliyah Turner, Shana Kim, and Jubi Park. Previously announced new cast members include: Yu Jitae, Tony Revolori, and Gia Kim. The slated theatrical release is Feb. 12, 2027.

Dec. 23, 2025: According to The Hollywood Reporter, there's been an update to the previous news. It's been reported that The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender will be skipping a theatrical release; instead, the film will debut on Paramount+ in Oct. 2026.Eric Nam voices the role of Adult Aang and more cast members have been added.

Mar. 7, 2026: According to Eric's post, there was a screening last night with the cast and crew. The title of the film has been updated to: Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender.

Transplant has won Best International Feature at the 2025 Manchester Film Festival Buzzy Awards!! Congrats for this recognition, Eric Nam (acting debut in a feature film), Jason Park (directorial debut), and the rest of the Transplant Team!! So proud of you guys!!
